It was a rematch of the 15s Colorado state title game between Colorado Springs ( winners in 15s) and Denver East.  Colorado Springs took the lead with seconds in the game with a try off the kick-off, East then controlled the play and went ahead by several tries until Colorado Springs roared back with 2 tries to take the lead by 5 points. With less than a minute on the clock East HS regained position and with some nifty running by (MVP) Sean Kilfoyle managed to score a try to tie it. The conversion was good and sealed the win for East. The level of play from both teams was outstanding!.
